LASC has been at the forefront of English language education for international students in America since 1982. LASC is approved by California’s Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) and accredited by the Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET). We are certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), and we are authorized to issue I-20 documents for F-1 visa applicants and holders.LASC offers myriad programs that teach American English and American culture through a research-based curriculum. In our six-level English as a Second Language (ESL) program, students will build the skills and self-assurance to use English in everyday circumstances. Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program prepares students to use English in collegiate situations. We also offer intensive IELTS and TOEFL exam preparation courses with individualized instruction and mentorship. Finally, our one-year, multi-level Business English program is designed to turn students into confident, effective communicators who will contribute to business situations in today’s global marketplace.
Across all our programs, LASC students will gain many academic advantages. They will enjoy smaller class sizes and charismatic, experienced teachers. The knowledgeable and compassionate student representatives will help students reach their potential. Lastly, LASC students who complete our programs may have reduced admissions requirements at over 50 partnered colleges and universities in southern California and the greater United States.
